Utah High School Basketball - Granger can't hold off Hunter

January 27, 2023: West Valley City, UT 84119

The Hunter Wolverines basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the host Granger Lancers to 65 in the Wolverines league victory on Friday.

The Wolverines now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host West for a 6A Region 2 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Hunter will battle a Panthers team coming off a 71-54 league loss to Cyprus (Magna, UT). The Panthers record now stands at 4-10.

The Lancers (1-15) will now prepare for their contest against Taylorsville (Taylorsville, UT). The Warriors come into the 6A Region 2 contest with a 2-12 record. In their last contest, Taylorsville was nudged by Roy (Roy, UT), 59-48, in a league contest.
