New York High School Basketball - Greeley over John Jay
January 27, 2023: Chappaqua, NY 10514 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Greeley Quakers (Chappaqua, NY) and the visiting John Jay Wolves (Cross River, NY), saw Greeley's basketball squad overcome John Jay by a tally of 60-45.
With the victory, Greeley improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Quakers travel to Ossining (Ossining, NY) to confront the Pride in a Section 1 Conference 1D challenge on Wednesday, February 1. The Pride come into the challenge with a record of 6-7.
Next up, the Wolves confront the Brewster Bears (Brewster, NY) in a Section 1 Conference 2C challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. John Jay will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 67-50 non-league loss to Harrison (Harrison, NY).
