Kokomo Wildkats (Kokomo, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lafayette Jefferson Bronchos (Lafayette, IN), 49-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Kokomo upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Wildkats host Lewis Cass (Walton, IN) to play the Kings in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Kings go into the bout with a record of 10-5. Lewis Cass lost 74-69 in their recent non-league bout against Maconaquah (Bunker Hill, IN)

Next up, the Bronchos play the McCutcheon Mavericks (Lafayette, IN) in a North Central bout, on Thursday, February 2. Lafayette Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record.
