Missouri High School Basketball - Olathe East topples Lafayette
January 27, 2023: St. Joseph, MO 64505 In Friday's league outing, the Olathe East Hawks (Olathe, KS) basketball squad beat the host Lafayette Fighting Irish (St. Joseph, MO), by a count of 60-52.
The Hawks (5-7) will now prepare for their outing against Shawnee Mission North (Shawnee Mission, KS). The Bison go into the non-league outing with a 2-10 record. In their last outing, Shawnee Mission North was topped by Lawrence Free State (Lawrence, KS), 63-38, in a non-league outing.
The Fighting Irish now hold a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Savannah for a Midland Empire outing on Tuesday, January 31. Lafayette will clash with a Savages squad coming off a 56-35 non-league loss to Clarinda (Clarinda, IA). The Savages record now stands at 3-11.
