Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA) and the visiting Prince Edward County Eagles (Farmville, VA), saw Lunenburg Central's basketball squad hold off Prince Edward County by a tally of 59-57.

With the victory, Lunenburg Central improves its record to 7-10 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech (Petersburg, VA) to play the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 0-19.
