Arkansas High School Basketball - Rivercrest ripped by Manila
January 27, 2023: Wilson, AR 72395 The Manila Lions basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Rivercrest Colts to 33 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Corning for a 3A Region 3 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Manila will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 77-71 league win over Gosnell (Gosnell, AR). The Bobcats record now stands at 9-7.
The Colts (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Piggott (Piggott, AR). The Mohawks enter the 3A Region 3 contest with a 8-12 record. In their last contest, Piggott triumphed over Harrisburg (Harrisburg, AR), 59-53, in a league contest.
