Illinois High School Basketball - Quest Charter Academy over Mendon Unity
January 27, 2023: Peoria, IL 61604 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Quest Charter Academy Gators (Peoria, IL) and the visiting Mendon Unity Mustangs (Mendon, IL), saw Quest Charter Academy's basketball squad overcome Mendon Unity by a margin of 64-56.
The Gators (10-14) will now prepare for their test against Yorkville Christian (Yorkville, IL). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 6-17 record. In their last test, Yorkville Christian was beaten by De La Salle (Chicago, IL), 79-53, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they host Griggsville-Perry for a non-league test on Monday, January 30. Mendon Unity will encounter a Tornadoes squad coming off a 44-31 non-league win over Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia (Concord, IL). The Tornadoes record now stands at 17-5.
