Pine Plains Bombers (Pine Plains, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Millbrook Blazers (Millbrook, NY), 49-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Pine Plains upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Bombers travel to Hawthorne Valley (Ghent, NY) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 5-3.

Next up, the Blazers play the Spackenkill Spartans (Poughkeepsie, NY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Millbrook will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 11-2 record after their 76-53 league win over Ellenville (Ellenville, NY).
