Ohio High School Basketball - Northwestern nips Waynedale
January 27, 2023: Apple Creek, OH 44606 Northwestern Huskies (West Salem, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Waynedale Golden Bears (Apple Creek, OH), 65-64 in a league bout.
With the win, Northwestern upgrades its record to 5-12 on the season. The Huskies host Dalton (Dalton, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a Wayne County bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 9-6. Dalton won 63-23 in their recent league bout against Rittman (Rittman, OH)
Next up, the Golden Bears play the Chippewa Chipps (Doylestown, OH) in a Wayne County bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Waynedale will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record.
