Massachusetts High School Basketball - Norwood nudges Norton
January 27, 2023: Norwood, MA 02062 Norwood Mustangs (Norwood, MA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Norton Lancers (Norton, MA), 61-55 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Norwood upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Mustangs host Hopkinton (Hopkinton, MA) to clash with the Hillers in a Tri-Valley - Large bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Hillers go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Hopkinton lost 54-48 in their recent non-league bout against Medway (Medway, MA)
Next up, the Lancers clash with the Bellingham Blackhawks (Bellingham, MA) in a Tri-Valley - Small bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Norton will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Blackhawks go into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 54-38 non-league loss to Westwood (Westwood, MA).
