Arizona High School Basketball - Williams crushes Red Mesa

Williams Vikings (Williams, AZ) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Red Mesa Redskins (Teec Nos Pos, AZ), 71-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Williams upgrades its record to 18-7 on the campaign. The Vikings host El Capitan/Centennial Academy (Colorado City, AZ) to play the in a 1A Canyon bout on Saturday, January 28. The come into the bout with a record of 19-2. El Capitan/Centennial Academy won 53-51 in their recent non-league bout against Milford (Milford, UT)

Next up, the Redskins play the Basis Yeti (Flagstaff, AZ) in a 1A North bout, on Monday, January 30. Red Mesa will attempt to upgrade on its 5-17 season record. The Yeti come into the bout with a 16-5 record after their 66-62 league win over Rock Point (Rock Point, AZ).
