New Mexico High School Basketball - Rehoboth Christian tops Zuni
January 27, 2023: Rehoboth, NM 87322 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Rehoboth Christian Lynx (Rehoboth, NM) and the visiting Zuni Thunderbirds (Zuni, NM), saw Rehoboth Christian's basketball squad knock off Zuni by a count of 60-44.
With the victory, Rehoboth Christian upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Lynx travel to Bosque (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Bosque won 56-29 in their recent league challenge against Cuba (Cuba, NM)
Next up, the Thunderbirds play the Navajo Prep Eagles (Farmington, NM) in a 3A District 1 challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Zuni will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 16-2 record after their 75-47 league win over Newcomb (Newcomb, NM).
