In Friday's league outing, the Center Hill Mustangs (Olive Branch, MS) basketball squad edged the host Lewisburg Patriots (Olive Branch, MS), by a count of 64-59.

The Mustangs (15-8) will now prepare for their outing against North Panola (Sardis, MS). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 0-6 record.

The Patriots now hold a 15-10 record. They play next when they travel to St. Agnes Academy for a non-league outing on Monday, January 30. Lewisburg will clash with a Stars squad coming off a 45-42 league win over Hutchison (Memphis, TN). The Stars record now stands at 8-8.
