The Sports & Medical Sciences Academy Tigers basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting East Granby Crusaders to 48 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canton for a North Central Connecticut contest on Tuesday, January 31. Sports & Medical Sciences Academy will battle a Warriors team coming off a 59-25 league loss to Stafford (Stafford Springs, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 7-8.

The Crusaders (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Achievement First (Hartford, CT). The enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record.
