Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Fillmore Central Falcons (Harmony, MN) and the visiting Spring Grove Lions (Spring Grove, MN), saw Fillmore Central's basketball squad crush Spring Grove by a margin of 59-31.

The Falcons (8-9) will now prepare for their test against Plainview-Elgin-Millville (Elgin, MN). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Plainview-Elgin-Millville walloped St. Charles (St. Charles, MN), 60-51, in a league test.

The Lions now own a 7-11 record. They play next when they host LeRoy-Ostrander for a A Section 1 test on Monday, January 30. Spring Grove will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 59-52 league loss to Schaeffer Academy (Rochester, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-13.
