The Sweetwater Red Devils basketball team (National City, CA), dropped 46-29 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Hilltop Lancers (Chula Vista, CA)

The Lancers now possess a 7-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gompers Prep Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 31. Hilltop will confront a Eagles team coming off a 44-37 non-league loss to High Tech Mesa (San Diego, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-10.

The Red Devils (4-18) will now prepare for their battle against Castle Park (Chula Vista, CA). The Trojans come into the South Bay battle with a 2-18 record. In their last battle, Castle Park dropped by Mar Vista (Imperial Beach, CA), 30-29, in a league battle.
