Kentucky High School Basketball - Meade County overwhelmed by Sacred Heart

The Sacred Heart Valkyries basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Meade County Green Waves to 38 in the Valkyries non-league victory on Friday.

The Valkyries now sport a 19-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. Sacred Heart will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 38-36 non-league win over Butler (Louisville, KY). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 10-9.

The Green Waves (14-8) will now prepare for their contest against Bullitt East (Mt. Washington, KY). The Chargers come into the non-league contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Bullitt East triumphed over Southwestern (Somerset, KY), 54-38, in a non-league contest.
