North Carolina High School Basketball - Winston-Salem Christian National tops Balboa School
January 27, 2024: Winston-Salem, NC 27105 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Winston-Salem Christian National Lions (Winston-Salem, NC) and the visiting Balboa School (Escondido, CA), saw Winston-Salem Christian National's basketball squad knock off Balboa School by a tally of 77-62.
With the victory, Winston-Salem Christian National improves its record to 20-6 on the campaign. The Lions host Wesley Christian (Allen, KY) to play the Circuit Riders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Circuit Riders come into the challenge with a record of 9-15. Wesley Christian won 77-65 in their recent non-league challenge against Mountain Mission (Grundy, VA)
Next up, the play the Accelerated Prep Accelerated Prep (Lakewood, CO) in a Freelance challenge, on Sunday, January 28. Balboa School will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Accelerated Prep come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 77-53 non-league loss to Dream City Christian National (Glendale, AZ).
