Kentucky High School Basketball - Ryle nips Bell County
January 27, 2024: Pineville, KY 40977 Ryle Raiders (Union, KY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Bell County Bobcats (Pineville, KY), 88-87 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Ryle upgrades its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Raiders host Simon Kenton (Independence, KY) to play the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Pioneers come into the bout with a record of 8-12. Simon Kenton won 71-63 in their recent non-league bout against Gallatin County (Warsaw, KY)
Next up, the Bobcats play the Middlesboro Yellowjackets (Middlesboro, KY) in a District 52 bout, on Thursday, February 1. Bell County will attempt to upgrade on its 16-4 season record.
