January 27, 2024: Buckfield, ME 04220 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Buckfield Bucks (Buckfield, ME) and the visiting Wiscasset Wolverines (Wiscasset, ME), saw Buckfield's basketball squad overcome Wiscasset by a tally of 46-36.
With the victory, Buckfield improves its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Bucks host Pine Tree Academy (Freeport, ME) to confront the Breakers in a D South challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Breakers come into the challenge with a record of 2-9. Pine Tree Academy lost 61-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Searsport (Searsport, ME)
Next up, the Wolverines confront the Forest Hills Tigers (Jackman, ME) in a D South challenge, on Monday, January 29. Wiscasset will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 69-41 league win over Greenville (Greenville, ME).
