The Southwest DeKalb Panthers basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Griffin Bears to 46 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Panthers now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westminster for a AAAA Region 6 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Southwest DeKalb will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 52-42 non-league loss to Marist (Atlanta, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-7.

The Bears (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Howard (Macon, GA). The Huskies come into the AAAA Region 2 contest with a 7-14 record. In their last contest, Howard was nudged by Westside (Macon, GA), 63-44, in a league contest.
