January 27, 2024: Haddon Heights, NJ 08035 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Holy Spirit Spartans (Absecon, NJ) and the host Haddon Heights Garnets (Haddon Heights, NJ), saw Holy Spirit's basketball squad hold off Haddon Heights by a tally of 52-49.
With the victory, Holy Spirit improves its record to 3-17 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Oakcrest (Mays Landing, NJ) to play the Falcons in a Cape/Atlantic - National challenge on Monday, January 29. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 8-5. Oakcrest won 55-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Millville (Millville, NJ)
Next up, the Garnets play the Bridgeton Bulldogs (Bridgeton, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 29. Haddon Heights will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 90-63 league loss to Atlantic City (Atlantic City, NJ).
