Ohio High School Basketball - Western Hills nips Linden-McKinley
January 27, 2024: Columbus, OH 43211 Western Hills Mustangs (Cincinnati, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Linden-McKinley Panthers (Columbus, OH), 56-54 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Western Hills upgrades its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Goshen (Goshen, OH) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 15-2. Goshen won 83-52 in their recent league bout against Western Brown (Mt. Orab, OH)
Next up, the Panthers play the Centennial Stars (Columbus, OH) in a Columbus City - North bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Linden-McKinley will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Stars come into the bout with a 6-12 record after their 52-39 league loss to Northland (Columbus, OH).
