Alaska High School Basketball - Service fells Wasilla
January 27, 2024: Wasilla, AK 99654 Service Cougars (Anchorage, AK) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Wasilla Warriors (Wasilla, AK), 58-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Service upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Cougars host Chugiak (Chugiak, AK) to play the Mustangs in a 4A Cook Inlet bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 3-8. Chugiak lost 86-62 in their recent league bout against West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK)
Next up, the Warriors play the Grace Christian Grizzlies (Anchorage, AK) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Wasilla will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 79-42 league win over Seward (Seward, AK).
