Greeley West Spartans (Greeley, CO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Centaurus Warriors (Lafayette, CO), 43-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Greeley West upgrades its record to 4-9 on the season. The Spartans travel to University (Greeley, CO) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-7. University won 60-19 in their recent league bout against Weld Central (Keenesburg, CO)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Erie Tigers (Erie, CO) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Centaurus will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
