Wisconsin High School Basketball - West Salem overwhelms Bangor
January 27, 2024: West Salem, WI 54669 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the West Salem Panthers (West Salem, WI) and the visiting Bangor Cardinals (Bangor, WI), saw West Salem's basketball squad wallop Bangor by a count of 78-55.
With the victory, West Salem upgrades its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Viroqua (Viroqua, WI) to play the Blackhawks in a Coulee challenge on Monday, January 29. The Blackhawks come into the challenge with a record of 4-12. Viroqua won 40-30 in their recent league challenge against Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau (Galesville, WI)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Hillsboro Tigers (Hillsboro, WI) in a Scenic Bluffs challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Bangor will attempt to upgrade on its 15-3 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 6-14 record after their 38-36 league win over Wonewoc-Center (Wonewoc, WI).
