The Union Tigers basketball team (Mount Storm, WV), dropped 38-23 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Calhoun Red Devils (Mt. Zion, WV)

The Red Devils now possess a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Harrison for a Little Kanawha - East battle on Monday, January 29. Calhoun will confront a Hawks team coming off a 51-45 non-league win over Tygarts Valley (Mill Creek, WV). The Hawks record now stands at 7-7.

The Tigers (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Tygarts Valley (Mill Creek, WV). The Bulldogs come into the Potomac Valley battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, Tygarts Valley beat Notre Dame (Clarksburg, WV), 46-29, in a non-league battle.
