Oklahoma High School Basketball - Geronimo nips Dover
January 27, 2024: Geronimo, OK 73543 Geronimo Blue Jays (Geronimo, OK) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Dover Longhorns (Dover, OK), 44-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Geronimo upgrades its record to 23-1 on the season. The Blue Jays host Frederick (Frederick, OK) to play the Bombers in a Southern Eight bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Bombers go into the bout with a record of 3-11. Frederick lost 49-36 in their recent league bout against Big Pasture (Randlett, OK)
Next up, the Longhorns play the Gracemont Lions (Gracemont, OK) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Dover will attempt to upgrade on its 20-1 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 3-18 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Blair (Blair, OK).
