Ohio High School Basketball - Franklin Monroe knocked off by Fort Recovery
January 27, 2024: Fort Recovery, OH 45846 The Fort Recovery Indians basketball team scored 32 points and held the visiting Franklin Monroe Jets to 15 in the Indians non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Indians now sport a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Henry for a Midwest contest on Thursday, February 1. Fort Recovery will battle a Redskins team coming off a 35-26 non-league loss to Jackson Center (Jackson Center, OH). The Redskins record now stands at 10-5.
The Jets (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Arcanum (Arcanum, OH). The Trojans enter the Western Ohio contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Arcanum ran past Twin Valley South (West Alexandria, OH), 60-32, in a league contest.
