January 27, 2024: Joplin, MO 64804 The Joplin Eagles (Joplin, MO) basketball felled the visiting St. Charles Pirates (St. Charles, MO), 55-42 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Eagles (4-11) will now prepare for their test against Carl Junction (Carl Junction, MO). The Bulldogs go into the Central Ozarks test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Carl Junction was beaten by Troy-Buchanan (Troy, MO), 58-27, in a non-league test.
The Pirates now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to North Point for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 30. St. Charles will encounter a Grizzlies squad coming off a 52-24 non-league loss to Principia (St. Louis, MO). The Grizzlies record now stands at 7-10.
