January 27, 2024: Leonia, NJ 07605 The Leonia Lions (Leonia, NJ) basketball felled the visiting Ramsey Rams (Ramsey, NJ), 57-47 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lions (16-3) will now prepare for their test against Bogota (Bogota, NJ). The Buccaneers go into the non-league test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, Bogota was beaten by New Milford (New Milford, NJ), 60-41, in a league test.
The Rams now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Pascack Hills for a Big North - Patriot test on Tuesday, January 30. Ramsey will encounter a Broncos squad coming off a 37-29 non-league win over Weehawken (Weehawken, NJ). The Broncos record now stands at 4-13.
