January 27, 2024: Wessington Springs, SD 57382 The Wessington Springs Spartans (Wessington Springs, SD) basketball felled the visiting Miller Rustlers (Miller, SD), 61-52 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Spartans (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Iroquois/Lake Preston (Iroquois, SD). The go into the non-league test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Iroquois/Lake Preston was beaten by James Valley Christian (Huron, SD), 73-32, in a league test.
The Rustlers now own a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Chamberlain for a non-league test on Monday, January 29. Miller will encounter a Cubs squad coming off a 43-30 non-league loss to Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD). The Cubs record now stands at 6-6.
