West Virginia High School Basketball - Moorefield can't hold off Trinity Christian
January 27, 2024: Morgantown, WV 26505 The Trinity Christian Warriors basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Moorefield Yellow Jackets to 45 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Warriors now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Conotton Valley for a non-league contest on Monday, January 29. Trinity Christian will battle a Rockets team coming off a 42-18 league loss to East Canton (East Canton, OH). The Rockets record now stands at 8-8.
The Yellow Jackets (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Walsh (Cumberland, MD). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Bishop Walsh was nudged by Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD), 57-29, in a non-league contest.
