Washington High School Basketball - Chewelah crushes Davenport
January 27, 2024: Davenport, WA 99122 Chewelah Cougars (Chewelah, WA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Davenport Gorillas (Davenport, WA), 47-22 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Chewelah upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Cougars host St. George's (Spokane, WA) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 2-6. St. George's lost 24-18 in their recent non-league bout against Kettle Falls (Kettle Falls, WA)
Next up, the Gorillas play the Northwest Christian School Crusaders (Colbert, WA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Davenport will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Crusaders come into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 33-28 non-league loss to Reardan (Reardan, WA).
