South Carolina High School Basketball - Lugoff-Elgin can't hold off Mullins
January 27, 2024: Lugoff, SC 29078 The Mullins Auctioneers basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Lugoff-Elgin Demons to 51 in the Auctioneers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Auctioneers now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Andrews for a contest on Tuesday, January 30. Mullins will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 33-29 non-league win over Marion (Marion, SC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-7.
The Demons (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Orangeburg-Wilkinson (Orangeburg, SC). The Bruins enter the non-league contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Orangeburg-Wilkinson was nudged by White Knoll (Lexington, SC), 46-43, in a non-league contest.
