The Tyrone Golden Eagles basketball team scored 70 points and limited the host Central Mountain Wildcats to 67 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.

The Golden Eagles now possess a 12-3 record. They play next when they travel to Penns Valley Area for a Laurel Highlands game on Wednesday, January 29. Tyrone will confront a Rams team coming off a 75-52 non-league win over Mount Union (Mount Union, PA). The Rams record now stands at 9-7.

With the loss, Central Mountain falls to 6-11 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Midd-West (Middleburg, PA) to confront the Mustangs in a Heartland I game on Tuesday, January 28.
