In Monday's non-league test, the Cypress Bay Lightning (Weston, FL) basketball squad trounced the visiting West Broward Bobcats (Pembroke Pines, FL), by a score of 77-51.

Next, the Lightning encounter the Taravella Trojans (Coral Springs, FL) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, February 5. Cypress Bay will attempt to improve on its 14-9 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 9-12 record after their 62-56 non-league loss to Northeast (Oakland Park, FL).
