Florida High School Basketball - Hope Academy overwhelms International Community

January 27, 2025: Groveland, FL 34736

The Hope Academy Trojan Tigers basketball team scored 78 points and limited the visiting International Community Comets to 54 in the Trojan Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Trojan Tigers now have a 17-9 record. They play next when they travel to Jones for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. Hope Academy will confront a Fightin' Tigers team coming off a 69-43 non-league loss to Wekiva (Apopka, FL). The Fightin' Tigers record now stands at 7-13.

With the loss, International Community falls to 10-12 on the campaign. The Comets host Freedom (Orlando, FL) to confront the Patriots in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 11-11. Freedom lost 75-39 in their recent non-league game against Lake Mary (Lake Mary, FL)
