January 27, 2025: Manheim, PA 17545 Manheim Central Barons (Manheim, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Wyomissing Spartans (Wyomissing, PA), 66-55 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Manheim Central upgrades its record to 16-2 on the year. The Barons travel to Lampeter-Strasburg (Lampeter, PA) to face the Pioneers in a Lancaster-Lebanon 3 match on Thursday, January 30. The Pioneers enter the match with a record of 14-5. Lampeter-Strasburg won 73-40 in their recent non-league match against Oxford (Oxford, PA)
The Spartans now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamburg for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. Wyomissing will face a Hawks squad coming off a 56-51 non-league win over Northern Lebanon (Fredericksburg, PA). The Hawks record now stands at 11-8.
