Round Valley Elks (Eagar, AZ) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets (Lakeside, AZ), 39-34 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Round Valley upgrades its record to 16-9 on the year. The Elks host Many Farms (Many Farms, AZ) to face the Lobos in a 2A North match on Tuesday, January 28. The Lobos enter the match with a record of 16-7. Many Farms won 54-36 in their recent league match against Pinon (Pinon, AZ)

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Show Low for a 3A East match on Wednesday, January 29. Blue Ridge will face a Cougars squad coming off a 49-43 league win over Winslow (Winslow, AZ). The Cougars record now stands at 18-5.
