Iowa High School Basketball - Coon Rapids-Bayard overwhelms Ogden
January 27, 2025: Ogden, IA 50212 The Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders basketball team scored 44 points and limited the host Ogden Bulldogs to 13 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Monday.
The Crusaders now possess a 12-3 record. They play next when they travel to Exira-EHK for a Rolling Valley game on Tuesday, January 28. Coon Rapids-Bayard will confront a Spartans team coming off a 47-42 non-league win over Van Meter (Van Meter, IA). The Spartans record now stands at 12-3.
With the loss, Ogden falls to 1-15 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Des Moines Christian (Des Moines, IA) to confront the Lions in a West Central game on Friday, January 31. The Lions go into the game with a record of 13-3.
