Indiana High School Basketball - South Spencer overwhelms Hancock County
January 27, 2025: Rockport, IN 47635 The South Spencer Rebels basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Hancock County Hornets to 35 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Monday.
The Rebels now have a 10-10 record. They play next when they travel to North Posey for a Pocket game on Tuesday, January 28. South Spencer will confront a Vikings team coming off a 49-27 league win over Tell City (Tell City, IN). The Vikings record now stands at 14-6.
With the loss, Hancock County falls to 8-10 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Frederick Fraize (Cloverport, KY) to confront the Aces in a District 11 game on Tuesday, January 28. The Aces go into the game with a record of 1-9. Frederick Fraize lost 34-17 in their recent non-league game against Francis Parker (Louisville, KY)
