Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Southeast Alamance Stallions (Haw River, NC), 27-24 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Northwood advances its record to 2-5 on the year. The Chargers travel to Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 3-6. Chapel Hill lost 40-29 in their recent non-league match against Durham Academy (Durham, NC)

The Stallions now own a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jordan-Matthews for a non-league match on Friday, January 31. Southeast Alamance will face a Jets squad coming off a 33-31 non-league loss to Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Jets record now stands at 0-2.
