January 28, 2022: Alma, MI 48801

Alma Panthers (Alma, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Birch Run Panthers (Birch Run, MI), 88-68 in a league bout.

With the win, Alma upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Panthers host St. Johns (St. Johns, MI) to clash with the Redwings in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Redwings go into the bout with a record of 2-7. St. Johns lost 57-42 in their recent league bout against Mason (Mason, MI)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the New Lothrop Hornets (New Lothrop, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Birch Run will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 60-45 league loss to Chesaning (Chesaning, MI).
