The Detroit Cristo Rey WOLVES basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Cabrini Monarchs to 20 in the WOLVES league triumph on Friday.
The WOLVES now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit for a Catholic Intersectional II contest on Tuesday, February 1. Detroit Cristo Rey will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 94-31 league loss to University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-5.
The Monarchs (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Everest Collegiate (Clarkston, MI). The enter the Catholic Intersectional II contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Everest Collegiate was routed by Genesee Christian (Burton, MI), 55-50, in a league contest.
