New Jersey High School Basketball - Clearview holds off Washington Township
January 28, 2022: Mullica Hill, NJ 08062 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Clearview Pioneers (Mullica Hill, NJ) and the visiting Washington Township Minutemen (Sewell, NJ), saw Clearview's basketball squad hold off Washington Township by a tally of 42-40.
With the win, Clearview advances its record to 11-4 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Williamstown (Williamstown, NJ) to encounter the Braves in a Tri-County - Royal test on Thursday, February 3. The Braves go into the test with a record of 7-6.
The Minutemen now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Haddon Heights for a non-league test on Saturday, January 29. Washington Township will encounter a Garnets squad coming off a 59-49 non-league loss to Gloucester City (Gloucester City, NJ). The Garnets record now stands at 6-8.
