January 28, 2022: Torrance, CA 90505 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the South Spartans (Torrance, CA) and the visiting El Segundo Eagles (El Segundo, CA), saw South's basketball squad overcome El Segundo by a tally of 60-51.
With the victory, South improves its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Spartans host West (Torrance, CA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 31. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 14-9. West won 58-48 in their recent league challenge against Torrance (Torrance, CA)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Lawndale Cardinals (Lawndale, CA) in a Pioneer challenge, on Wednesday, February 2. El Segundo will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 7-13 record after their 70-58 league win over North (Torrance, CA).
