California High School Basketball - Fall River nips Mt. Shasta

January 28, 2022: McArthur, CA 96056

Fall River Bulldogs (McArthur, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA), 54-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Fall River upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Trinity (Weaverville, CA) to play the Wolves in a Shasta Cascade bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 8-12. Trinity lost 74-39 in their recent league bout against Modoc (Alturas, CA)

Next up, the Bears play the Etna Lions (Etna, CA) in a Shasta Cascade bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Mt. Shasta will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 2-14 record after their 74-54 league loss to Weed (Weed, CA).
