Friend Bulldogs (Friend, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Pawnee City Indians (Pawnee City, NE), 51-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Friend upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Lewiston (Lewiston, NE) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 31. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-15. Lewiston lost 66-47 in their recent league bout against Sterling (Sterling, NE)

Next up, the Indians clash with the Palmyra Panthers (Palmyra, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 10. Pawnee City will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 41-39 league loss to Elmwood-Murdock (Murdock, NE).
