Tahlequah Tigers (Tahlequah, OK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Glenpool Warriors (Glenpool, OK), 53-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Tahlequah upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Tigers host Grove (Grove, OK) to play the Ridgerunners in a Metro Lakes bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Ridgerunners go into the bout with a record of 2-5.

Next up, the Warriors play the Pryor Tigers (Pryor, OK) in a Metro Lakes bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Glenpool will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record.
